10:30am Morning worship with crèche and children’s groups
6:30pm Evening worship

Communion is celebrated 1st evening & 3rd morning

As a Baptist Church we make our decisions together under the guidance of the Holy Spirit in the regular Church meeting.

We believe that God has given us all Gifts and Skills that we should use for His Glory. Whether that is playing music in worship or helping at one of the many activities at the church.

Who are we:-

We are a lively Christian Community of all ages who are seeking to be loyal followers of Jesus.

We believe that is through our faith in Jesus Christ we are able to receive God’s promises of forgiveness, freedom and hope for the future - no matter what our past.

We put our faith into action through:
  -   Worship
  -   Sharing our experiences of Jesus with others
  -   Using our gifts and resources for God
  -   Responding to the different needs of those who know Jesus and those who do not

Sharing our experiences of Jesus with others:-

Mums Tots & Tinies - Wednesdays 10:00am & 1:00pm
Girls’ Brigade - Wednesdays at various times from 6:30pm to 9:00pm, for girls aged 5 - 21
Boys’ Club - Alternate Fridays 7:00pm to 8:30pm for boys aged 7 - 11
Women’s Fellowship - Thursdays 2:15pm to 3:00pm
Women’s Evening Group - fourth Tuesday each month at 7:00pm
Kidz Club - second Saturday each month 10:30am to noon for Reception to Year 6
Small groups - weekly in local neighbourhoods
Young People’s Fellowship (YPF) - Tuesdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 8:00pm for age 14+
Social Activities - a variety of activities for all ages and interests

Responding to the different needs of those who know Jesus and those who do not:-

Grandfathers’ Club - Mondays at 2:00pm for older men
Luncheon Club - Thursday 10:30am to 1:30pm for seniors
Alpha Courses - throughout the year for those enquiring about Christian life
Sheltered Homes services - held regularly throughout the district
Support for the distressed and bereaved - contact one of the people listed above

Wells Place Centre:-

Provides a meeting place for a wide variety of community groups, organisations and training events.

     Plus

The Coffee Shop - open for lunches and refreshments Tuesday to Friday term time and is staffed almost entirely by volunteers.

The Bookstall - providing a wide selection of Christian books for all ages.

Traidcraft stall - providing fairly traded tea, coffee and gifts from around the world.

Greetings Cards and Gift Wrap stand - with cards for special occasions.
